Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information Quick Dry LA ("we", "us") collects when you call us, text us, or use quickdryla.com, and how we use it. We keep this short because we collect very little.
What we collect
- When you call or text us: your name, phone number, the property address, and what you tell us about the damage. Calls to our main line are recorded, and you are told so at the start of the call.
- When we do work for you: photos, moisture readings, drying logs, estimates, invoices, and, if you ask us to bill an insurer or warranty company, the claim and policy information needed to do that.
- When you visit this site: standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages viewed) and basic analytics. We do not use advertising trackers that follow you across other sites, and this site has no contact forms.
How we use it
- To respond to your call, dispatch a crew, document the job, and invoice you or (with your permission) your insurer, warranty company, or landlord.
- To text you about your job: appointment confirmations, drying-progress updates, invoices, and, after the job is complete, a request for feedback or a review.
- To meet our legal obligations as a licensed California contractor, including record-keeping.
Text messaging (SMS) and your consent
We text only people who contacted us first, or who agreed to receive texts. Your phone number and your consent to receive text messages are never sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. Message frequency varies by job. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts and HELP for help. See our SMS Terms.
Who we share information with
Only as needed to do the work: our technicians and subcontractors on your job; your insurer, adjuster, warranty company, or landlord when you ask us to deal with them; independent testing labs (for example, mold clearance testing); and service providers that run our phone, text, email, and invoicing systems. We require those providers to protect your information. We share information with authorities when the law requires it. We do not sell personal information.
Your choices
- Reply STOP to any text to opt out of texts.
- Ask us to correct or delete your contact information by emailing hello@orbitbuild.com. We will keep job records we are legally required to keep (contracts, invoices, lien and warranty records) for the required period.
- California residents may request a copy of the personal information we hold about them, and may request deletion, subject to the exceptions above. We will not treat you differently for exercising these rights.
Security and retention
Job records live in password-protected systems with access limited to people who need them. Call recordings and texts are kept for as long as the job file is kept. We retain job files for the period California law requires for contractor records and then delete them.
Children
Our services are for property owners and managers. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date. Questions: hello@orbitbuild.com or call us at the number on the home page.
